Hansa Park in Germany is due to open a massive hyper coaster next year! The difference is...it's made by Gerstlauer! For those who are not aware, Gerstlauer made popular attractions such as The Smiler at Alton Towers and Mystery Mine at Dollywood! This will be a first from the company and judging from construction and statistics, they aren't starting off small! Below are some things we know and some rumors!
WHAT WE KNOW
- The ride will be a total of 239.5FT in height - The main drop will be 220ft in height - The lift hill is enclosed in a concrete tower! - Interestingly, the trains will be 4 rows of 4, small for a ride of this size - The ride will open in 2015, but theming and backstory will be added in 2016 - The ride will feature the tallest vertical lift hill in existence
RUMOURS
- There will be an indoor section before and after the main ride sequence - There will be a free-fall drop element
