So as many may know Apple inc. have recently released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, along with iOS8 and revealed the long awaited Apple Watch (not the iWatch!). This, however is possibly one of Apple's worst years ever in terms of product quality and many feel that their products are 'lack-luster,' and 'nothing special'.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
So first we had the iPhones. The features included on both of these phones are features that have been commonly seen on other devices for multiple years. The iPhone 6 hoasts a 4.7inch screen, as well as other futures, which are actually beaten by a much cheaper phone from another manufacturer. The iPhone 6 Plys sees a hefty £80 price raise from the iPhone 6 yet the only difference is the screen aize of 5.5inches. One good future is how the phone is curved, oh wait, no, it seems the entire product can bend with ease due to the aluminum outside and thin design! Not good!
iOS8
Or as I like to call it, iOS-Late, is apples 'biggest updates since the introduction of the app store'. This is a lie in my opinion, this operating system is what iOS7 should have been with handy features and software. iOS8 is still very very far behind, we have only just seen a Swype keyboard and predictive texts added to the iPhone, even then you need to purchase a separate app to gain access to a Swype keyboard. Not on Apple.
The Apple Watch
so after many years of speculation Apple are finally releasinga new way to rip people off a smart-watch! The watch itself, is not so smart however, for the watch to work to its full capabilities you MUST own an iPhone. Although the design mid very nice and customizable, it really is not worth the expected hearty price tag!
overall, 2014 is definitely a 'catch up to 2012' for Apple, now let's see if they can get to 2014 before we have holographic technology!
what are your thoughts and opinions on Apples 2014/nearly 2015 line up? Discuss below
